Juniper Research’s Future Digital Awards are given annually to the most innovative vendors and services in the telecoms industry. We are very happy to be recognized by one of the most reputable research firms in telecoms as an industry leader and innovator in Steering of Roaming (SoR). TOMIA's SoR service, Intelligent Preferred Network (IPN), has been trusted by customers for 20 years, and it remains at the forefront of the industry today.
TOMIA IPN has undergone significant improvements in 2024. The service continues to offer extensive coverage of steering scenarios in all network generations, from 2G to 5G SA. The service supports all steering methods and includes flexible and dynamic segmentation to manage IoT devices. 2024 saw the introduction of IPN's new Adaptive Steering capability, which delivers the Quality of Service (QoS) needed by the traffic segment. IPN Adaptive Steering combines signaling and data session monitoring to ensure consumers have a home-like experience and devices receive the connectivity quality required by their respective segments.
IPN Adaptive Steering continuously monitors roaming events, evaluates QoS metrics in real-time, and adapts steering decisions based on network performance and subscribers' data consumption patterns. By aligning network QoS with individual usage profiles, Adaptive Steering transitions roaming management from static to automated, optimizing connectivity to enhance the roaming experience.
The addition of the Adaptive Steering feature has transformed our industry-leading and award-winning IPN service. To learn more, visit our IPN product page.
